1987 Denning Majestic 36 ft[Motor coach chassis] 2010 fit out [Fit out by Jacana Motor homes in Taree NSW] $338,000.00

Complete [back to bare chassis custom conversion] into a long term 5 star A class luxury motor home.

There is nothing on this vehicle that has not been renewed /reconditioned or replaced, or upgraded.

The work carried out here, was with the catch cry [PERFECTION WILL BE ADEQUATE] the vehicle was taken to Bus Furb at Macksville coach builders where it was stripped bare. The mid mount 671 Detroit engine was removed and then had a complete bottom up rebuild with the dyno test report showing 301 HP. A completely reconditioned 4 speed Allison auto transmission [with retarder] was fitted. A new Rockwell differential was fitted, not to mention all-new brake drums and linings. All air bags were renewed along with all new bushes in the chassis and torque rods…

The vehicle is now showing 50,000 kilometres since rebuild.

The above is only a short list of the works that were carried out.


Approved drawings were completed for the construction and layout of the motor home and a NEW GRP skin was fitted. Including modifications to raise the headroom throughout the vehicle.

All of the aforementioned custom changes were engineer certified and the vehicle carries current compliance plates for all of the works carried out.

The customisation went on to include a push button slide out of the lounge and dinette, plus all new ALFAB windows to the entire unit. It also boasts HWH touch screen computerized hydraulic leveling system. No more hand jacking the vehicle to change a tyre.

New Alcoa alloy rims were fitted and new Bridgestone R 150 tyres to the steer were fitted in 2020 with Good Year expressway cleanskins to the rear. Plus 2 spares are carried with the unit showing 95% tread. All tyres 295 / 80 R 22.5

The list goes on to pull down shades to the drivers windows, full wrap around privacy curtain solar screen blankets to all front windows.

It goes without saying there is a Garmin GPS with reversing camera, full instrumentation in the new custom built ROSEWOOD BURL dash, [that alone cost in excess of $25,000 including the Rosewood steering wheel]. There is tyre pressure monitoring system. The vehicle, now named Serenity then traveled on to Taree in NSW where the talented craftsmen at JACANA Motor homes worked their magic to create a customized A class 5 star motor home. Tasmanian Ash fit out, along with the lounge, dinette and seats being upholstered in Ultra leather. The driver’s seat is an ISRI air ride and the passenger’s seat is a fully reclining Flexsteel recliner. The company Jacana Motor homes is well known for its dedication to excellence and its use of top end materials. No CUSTOM WOOD here.

A 6 KVA 3 cyl Westerbeke diesel generator was fitted [now showing 2050 hours] boasting a Jabsco pump out / pump in oil change system , along with 2 x 3000 watt Victron inverter chargers and all new Lithium batteries [800 amp hour in total] with computerised battery management system. Major wiring upgrade throughout.

There is a total of 14 opening side bins that stow everything, and I mean everything one could want to go in to isolated camping areas.
